We’re your independent, family owned and operated, waterjet cutting service.
Established in April 2019, our journey began with John, whose entire career has been immersed in the engineering field. Starting at Hillside workshop, he honed his skills as a coach builder for 16 years, eventually becoming a leading hand for 4 of those years.
John then transitioned to Millers Mechanical (Milmeq), where he excelled in stainless steel fabrication, undertaking site work in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. With 23 years of dedication, he rose to the role of workshop foreman, gaining invaluable experience, particularly with the Omax waterjet cutter, which Milmeq acquired in 2012.
Over 12 years of operating the same machine, we’ve honed our expertise to perfection, even servicing our own equipment due to our extensive training. When Milmeq ceased operations in Dunedin, John seized the opportunity to leverage his experience and establish JT Profiling Ltd.
We thrive on challenges, always striving to find innovative solutions. From signage to memorial plaques, artwork to outdoor panelling, and cutting profiles for engineers and factories, our versatility knows no bounds. Recognising the urgency of deadlines, we offer after-hours urgent/emergency services for breakdowns and shutdowns, ensuring that your projects are completed promptly and efficiently.
